For the horse racing fans among us
What are your thoughts on the revamped Triple Crown races schedule? Leading it off will be the Belmont Stakes at a shorter distance. Traditionally the last race of the TC at 1 1/2 miles. Looks like the asterisk will be in much use this year in the sports world. -

@Zoins Huh? Not sure I follow...... "Down the road" out West means <500 miles. I most certainly don't live in Utah, don't drink their water, and as far as I know, don't own any sports teams. -

Us Mick's are Scottish, not Irish. The Scot's don't like the Irish for some reason. I was born March 18th at 10 minutes after midnight and was told my grandmother would have disowned me if I was born on an Irish holiday.
