I got my ANA renewal notice and... does the ANA think I can't do math?
I don't mind renewing for a number of years, and I think there's generally an assumption that the longer term you pay for, the cheaper it is. sets can be all type 1 or type 2 or a mixture of both I think of type 1 being pointed top and type 2 being flat top (the type 2 frequently look like inverted mintmark) the first nickel is the only one I am pretty sure is type 2 for me it is easier to determine with loupe at an angle -

CBH question regarding 1827 flat and curl base 2 pricing.
I would like to know why there is not much of a price difference between the flat base 2 and the curl base 2 varieties of the 1827 half dollar, given the great difference of their Pop reports. I have an old 2007 PCGS Pop report and I think it has numbers around 1000 for the flat base 2 and only 55 for the curl base 2, yet… -
