Re: Looking for american coins
I particpated in a swap with Nanda a couple years ago, no problems there. He sent me a nice assortment of Indian coins, I sent him some nice mid-grade raw coins. Also swapped him silver eagles once. he had one that was toning and he didn't like it. I sent him a blast white one and stuck his is an old wooden cigar box to… -
Re: Describe your favorite coinshop...........
My favorite coin shop has thousands of dealers, tons of different coins, both raw and slabbed, and mint sets, proof sets, and just about anything else you can think of. They offer both fixed price sales and those in an auction format. They're open 24 hours, 7 days. Unfortunately, there's a lot of garbage, and lots of the… -
Re: 75T Mini Box Break - Interest in Adding Boxes of 73T Wax Ser 4, 73T Wax Ser 5, 75T Cello & 79T R

<< <i>This is actually my first time here. You dont have to be here for 3 years or have 500,000 posts before you can start picking up things, and the way I know a lot of these guys by name is because they have added there names (such as I do sometimes) after a post or through pm's. Marc >> so true....you just need to read… -

Re: Sears selling coins now?
I used to love Sears! Crafstman Products were the greatest and the store stood behind them. If something went wrong with ANY Craftsman tool, you could take it back and either get a refund or a replacement. That worked GREAT...............until the scammers figured out how to bring the program to its knees. Picking through… -
Re: How has eBay affected your business?
Overall, it has helped me liquidate stuff that comes in over the counter that i would not be able to sell locally or even to another dealer. Very broad market with a lot of viewers. Once in a while something will go cheaper than i had hoped , but for everyone of those, I have several that sell well over expectations. The… -
Re: Was there a moment when PCI graded consistently well?
The Bluesheet prices listed for PCI coins, as for all services, assume the WORST POSSIBLE quality examples. Of course, some sellers look only at the number on the slab instead of the coin, making it possible to buy early PCI Morgans which are equal to PCGS MS65s for $60. By carefully selecting older PCI slabs, we were able… -
Re: Anyone ever purchase from discountcardz??
It's really not that difficult when you have good customer service and conduct business the way you're supposed to. Its not all that easy all it takes is one idiot. You can have flawless CS and eventually you will find one. Actually scammers tend to target sellers with 100%FB more than those without it.. They view these… -
Re: Feedback for Buyers/Sellers
As a buyer when I get my stuff I leave feedback and if I haven't gotten feedback yet I send a nice reminder. I only have 20 so every one matters. If I don't get fb in the next few days the seller's name goes on a card next to my monitor. They'll never see my $ again. But I agree it's scary to leave fb first as a seller.… -
Re: Lady Sellers & Skepticism?

<< <i>The reason I bring this up is that there is seller called something like ButterflyLadyxoxo and I can't decide whether or not to bid on one of her items. I know in the back of my mind it is wrong to discriminate against women baseball card sellers but my practical self is struggling to go through with it. >> Why are…
