When you post a coin picture on this forum, you WILL get comments

Compliments or critiques, you WILL get them. This is in reference to the original Coppercoins' thread of the 1895 proof Morgan. He took the photo of the coin, posted here to "share", expecting I 'm sure Oohs! and Aahs!, or or , or whatever. But people started to analyze the photo and commented that maybe it is a 1895-S… -
Another Bidder to Add to Your BBL
Another ID you may want to add to your BBL (Blocked Bidder List): h.r.alford I get a message today (01/22) from PayPal that there is a CC chargeback against my account with a reason of unauthorized charge. Luckily I used PayPal shipping with DC so I can show proof of delivery to the PayPal listed address and it does show… -
Beware, lots of Bogus ASEs suddenly popping up on ebay
Based on layout of the item description, obvious that just a couple of foreign scammers are creating multiple, multiple ebay IDs to push fake ASEs. Alibaba must have recently had an "ASE" sale. MO: Pics of genuine ASEs close to zero feedback hidden in description is "copy" or "made of iron" or "plated brass." some of… -
Re: Coin collectors and Crypto
How serious they are isn't for me to judge. The fact is there are many of them who promote themselves as in the know, that have convinced many to put their money in Bitcoin claiming it's a great investment and/or solid long-term store of wealth. Many of those folks have gotten burned and some burned badly. I'm talking… -

Re: Converting PayPal Funds Into Bitcoin
Actually you can verify it. You're merely highlighting your lack of knowledge about the blockchain. For example, the volume of paypal btc since inception has been interesting to observe as well as whale movements, greyscale buys, etc. I find it hilarious you can look up a bitcoin scammer and see how much they've scammed.… -
Re: 1985 Topps Cello - Clemens Top/McGwire Bottom
With 800 cards in the set the odds of this happening would be 400 times 800 and thats 1 in 32000. So you would literally have to go through 16,000 cello packs just to have a 50-50 chance of finding this type of cello. So does anyone actually think a person would sell this ungraded? Also there are so many scammers out there… -
Re: Resealed proof and mint sets
Yes and No You really need to know what to look for and even then there are some scammers out there. There are even sellers that sell "reprinted" proof set envelopes for those that like to rip-look-reseal-scam! Again, you have to know what you are looking at. Letter styles, type placement, envelope color, envelope… -
Re: Fake PCGS Slabbed Trade Dollar
I don't think we're the only ones policing but ebay actually depends on potential buyer's reports--they don't have any other method to identify scammers. In this case the report with the link to the heritage auction was probably them most helpful. Remember, ebay trust and safety employees are laymen so they need some sort… -
Re: GAI Graded 1970 Topps Cello Packs
shaqfu is one of the biggest scammers in the sports collectibles field. In addition to counterfeit packs, he has been shown to be a part of a huge counterfeit cards fraud operation (Tuff Stuff did an investigative article back in 2005 about the fake Star cards, rare Starting Lineup cards, and other cards showing up in GEM…
