Re: The ultimate unsearched Lincoln roll gamble...
What a dirty scammer. If you were to buy the roll and pay with Paypal though, whats to keep you from returning it and getting your money back if you see you've been scammed? Isn't this what Ebay and Paypal are trying to do in making the buyer less afraid to buy with their new policies? I have several lots of coins I'd like… -
Re: Question about certification numbers or hiding them.
There have been many eBay "sellers" (scammers) stealing images from legitimate auctions and "selling" them fraudulently. Some of these were spotted and reported (and proven) by the slab and certification number. I'm sure there are some more "intelligent" thiefs photo-editiing some of these numbers out making it much more… -
Re: This guy wants sellers to leave feedback first!
I agree with him, as a buyer, your job is to pay, if you do so, you should be left pos. feedback, I think alot of sellers, don't do this to hold you hostage, if you are not happy and leave neg feedback then they will do the same to you. That is B.S. I have gotten the shaft on many small $ items and did not leave neg.… -
Re: What a waste of $2k!
<< <i>So let me get this straight--the seller of this card was the winning bidder of the same card from another seller but never made good on payment, but then turned around and is attempting to sell this same card to someone else using the previous seller's photo? Wow. >> Yep - took me a bit to figure it out as well.… -
Re: Guess where these are headed?
Ebay doesn't need to ban the sale of anything collectible. Wrappers are as collectible as cards and just because a small minority of buyers use them to make packs doesn't mean they should be banned from sale. You don't ban the sale of cards because somebody might trim them and pass them off later as a higher grade. What… -
Re: can this be right?
<< <i>I would assume something is wrong here and avoid this product altogether. No, I don't see how NGC would grade a splotched coin...if there is a problem, they have NCS to turn to. Fake slab? Cracked slab with coin replaced and resealed? Violating the 'buy the coin and not the slab' rule? [edit] Maybe it was around LOTS… -
Re: eBay ID ---> shoeless-joejackson / queencity-sportscards = Kevin Burge ---> The worst seller I

Re: 4-Coin Platinum Uncirc Sets - RISING FAST!!!

<< <i>Is that the same guy who use the BIN a few time? If so you might be able to give him enough strikes to strike him out. >> He just used it once for 5 coins. I believe he really wanted to buy them but couldn't get a paypal account open in a timely manner and has thrown up his hands in frustration. Acutally, he is… -
Re: The Case For $5,000 Gold
This might be old fashion (I am old) or maybe I’ve seen It’s a Wonderful Life to many times but I like my gold coins because I’m in possession. I known it’s the way things are but I’m not a fan of money that is digits on a computer screen. 💩’s getting hacked all the time, scammers out there. I really don’t think I’m a… -
