Re: So I don't have a camera. I can no longer sell pcgs coins on ebay?

<< <i> << <i> << <i>I'm surprised anybody would list coins without images. Russ, NCNE >> I agree, it's not like you are going to get less money for taking a good pictiure of the coin you are selling. Unless there is something wrong with it. >> What about unopened boxes of USMint coins???? THere are times to list without… -
Re: ebay seller waxgold...
<< <i>is there any way to bust guys like this? He is even buying key rookies in poor condition and putting them in packs... >> The scammers often get more clever over the years - based on his feedback I believe he is likely buying EXMT, or NM - OC/MC type cards, likely say doctoring the corners by trimming etc, and… -
Re: Rant - John B. Hamrick & Co. - UPDATED 5/23!
At least you got a response... I sent 3 messages and have not heard a thing back. I have already sent a postal money order including the $8.00 shipping that was supposed to be free asking for a refund (Geez, I guess I really am dumb or narrow minded)! Auction link I will leave my first negative on the last possible day at… -
Re: Can this 1956 Mantle be real?
Sure is adamant about no pickup. Yes, PayPal doesn't protect the seller if an item is picked up, and the seller may know that, but still unless I could pickup the item and pay with cash or money order, something like that, then I'm not bidding on it. Just a feeling, I may be wrong, that this seller isn't new to ebay - but… -
Re: Strange coin auction.
I thought this seller name seemed familiar, and I just realized why. He had a group of 25 "unopened" proof sets listed that I eMailed him about. Since the picture in the auction is an open set, I asked him for images of the batch of 25. He replied with some crap about how the sets were on the way to him, so he had to use a… -
Re: field testing gold bars. Cut test showed gold but was fake.
Originally posted by: CaptHenway Who did the test cut? The crook may have just indented an area, pushing the gold plating down without breaking through it. Another con game is to show genuine product for testing, after which the crook puts the product in his pocket for "just a second" while he makes a phone call to get an… -
Re: Craigslist Newb Trusts me?

Sean got it thats your average response from the African scammers on many things posted for sale on CL. they will sometimes send a check for more than the amount and ask for change or they use stolen credit card numbers or bogus MOs that bounce, many ways. but they usually go for the smaller electronic like laptops etc.… -
Re: card doctoring info
The Cohocorp Official Post Your Unholdered Scans (scams??)............... thats funny. anything is fine with me as long as its a step in the right direction. if you noticed from my (beware of scammer george kritko) post earlier this week. there were a few pending deals with that guy and other baord members. so as soon as… -
Re: Scamming freak tries to sell fake plank on eBay
He went to great lengths to explain why it was real and 5 dealers agreed with him. But he wouldnt name any of the dealers because they would get too many phone calls. If he would have took the time to find out about the card and instead of the elaborate explaination it would have took him 10 seconds on line to find out it… -
Re: What is it about Florida?

<< <i>HEY! I live in Florida. I am not a scum. >> Sorry, but it seems that a disproportionate number of EBay scammers reside in Florida, as do the bogus grading services. TWQG - The problem is the coin isn't even MS, it's in a bogus service's holder and he's quoting PCGS prices. He says, "Bust Dimes of this type Trend at…
