Scott, It looks like you have the search worked out--for this week at least. Your search filter will have to keep up with the keyword spammers just like your e-mail filter has to be continually tweaked for the e-mail spammers. Check out his items sold. Someone has previously purchased a fake 1955 DDO 1c and a 1916-D 10c which both look fake to me from this scammer for a large amount of money. Too bad something can't be done about these past rip-offs. -

Obviously the same coin in two different listings. Perhaps seller 1 consigned his junk to an unknowing (or knowing) seller 2...better FB rating makes it look more legit. That said, if you're a scammer and have a live one at $12k, why do you cancel? Weird. -

That stinks, I'd be annoyed for sure. But at least the card is undamaged. I've recieved dozens of cards in regular envelopes over the years, they all came undamaged. I'm not sure I'd leave a neg for that. But I only leave negs to scammers, period. The idiots always get a break just for that alone.. -

It sucks that there are scammers out there who have ruined the replacement policy topps had. But unfortunately it's the world we live in now. Sucks that the replacement cards didn't work out better for you, but blame those shady 'collectors' who purposefully damaged cards in order to try and beat the system. -

Rampage; Just sounds to me like they are trying to avoid fraud from "lookalike" scammers trying to collect on other people's auctions; not something that should make one stay away from the auction. Just my opinion on it though...why does it make you leery of the auction? RELLA
