Awesome 1945 Toned Cent (thanks TomB) + Russ- I got your 12c that were overdue...
TomB was kind enough to send me an awesome, green-toned 1945 Lincoln cent... really great color on the obverse and a two-toned red on the reverse with a rim of rainbow... THANKS TOM!!!! By coincidence, the package needed 12c from the PO to be mailed... remind us of Russ' letter from a long time ago? Cue "Twilight Zone"… -

Well, Russ that set I was telling you about did arrive pretty quickly, and I had no problems. But the half dollar has the number 1 on the date completely missing from the coin, and where it should be there's a white area, that is slightly rough. I don't know whether there's something on the coin causing the roughness or if… -

stman, i may in fact have the high estimate here, i didn't know by heart that russes coin was a better date and was in fact guessing 5 x bid for an assumed type date, if that translates into 5 x 600 instead of 5 x 100 Russ should do pretty well. so it's my bo boo for not knowing it wasn't a type date. les
