Re: Help stop/slow down online password & identity theft.
I usually use fake information for real forms anyway. It always cracks me up when I say I was born in 1196 and it lets me register! Partly I do this because of that evil law that states that if you're under 13 you can't do anything on the Internet, so I always have to backdate a few years, but I just prefer to stay… -
Re: 1978 Topps Gem Mint 10 Pete Rose .... UGLY !!!!
There are some opinions on this board just as bad as some grades.....on that note..... Is it possible that this holder was opened and cards were switched? I dont see any cracks on the scan but the scan isnt too good either. Person has a good rating but may have bought the card in good faith and now reselling. Or, maybe… -
Re: newbie here needing some veteran advice please?

Hey bud... I generally use SCS the most myself As for here, there are no standards for trades. You don't have to post a deal and there's no rules as to who actually sends first. These are things determined by the two traders. You don't have to post your deal, but you can if you like. There is no feedback here either. You… -
Re: Scam? Huge coincidence? All these 3 day no reserve auctions of mega key date Lincolns...
This appears to be the same scam that has been going on for months. The real "owner" of these coins owns nothing but stolen images. He then recruits "Brokers" or "Seller's Assistants" (always people with little feedback and no knowledge of coins-who in their right mind would open coins like this at such a low price with NO… -
Re: $50 Buffalo

I have purchased from Jim Teri off of Ebay and I had no problem at all. They sell lots and lots of bullion related items and must have access to the early info, wish i was them. i would not hesitate in the least to buy from them in the future. Just to say someone has 14 negs is a fairly cheap shot IMO, they sold over 400… -
Re: Today's Amusement from Anaconda

We have short memory's don't we? Buyersdelight turns around and sells this stuff on ebay to turn a quick profit, although I wonder how. A month or so ago the buyer became a topic of discussion here on the forum because he had, how shall i say, over emphasized the grade of the coin he was selling. A number of us here made… -

Re: Unopened GSA CC boxes on ebay
<< <i>I have bought several of these many years ago. I opened four of these about three weeks ago, and two of them had stickers on them from a dealers inventory type notes. The other two were very nice coins, with one being at least a 65 maybe a six. The two with stickers.......... two of the biggest dogs I've seen. I… -
Re: I took some Barber Quarters to the local B&M this weekend (Photos Added)
My story is a parody. What I am trying to say is this. Shop the coins around and try to get the most fair price. The dealer's offer of 60% of greysheet is very fair, since he has to fork over cash immediately with future work involved in the transaction. On a wholesale level, I often get 75-85% of greysheet after hours or… -
Re: Fake Kennedy's?
Some see a raised line on the edge, but I just see a line, as you should with clad coins (silver clad in this case), I would not dip anymore - that definitely ruins them, whatever they are, I think they could be real, but also remember the Chinese scammers who shipped back tens of millions of $$ in coins they claimed to…
