Re: Want it now...........on Ebay

<< <i> Mostly a spam-generator. storm >> Everything Ebay does seems to get abused by scammers. This is partly the nature of scumbags and the idiots that feed them, and Ebay itself - which really doesn't give a gerbil's butt about the service it provides because it's a monopoly. Monopolies don't last forever (unless you're… -
Re: bid quick

I knew Beckett's prices were largely fiction intended for entertainment purposes only. But I did not know they were now "appraising" cards. This scammer has no clue about the hobby. He can't be bothered to steal a scan or even look up the value. He's just visiting for a change of pace, check out what the fishing's like. -
Re: I think this guy needs a new grading book....
Looks real, VG details, probably cleaned way in the past. Many, Many bust halves were. To call that a VF? It's like some of the ebay scammers that show a coin with VG details, but in the title they say: 1802 Draped Bust - $50,000 and then in the description they'll say: This coin lists for $50,000 in MS 65 but you decide… -
Re: The Second Coming...
All I had to do was a search. It's not that hard IversonFan@webtv.net BTW, I'm no friend of Bradley, but what was done with his ebay auction was totally wrong!!!!!!!! Heck, I had "Bradley25 = Scammer/Bad Trader He's screwed more people than a $5 call girl" in my signature for over a month. Having Problems with your… -
Re: Did anyone here attend this auction in Delaware? Mostly unopened
WOW. This is a real eye opener for me. I honestly never thought someone could have that much material to reseal that amount of stuff. And a lot of the boxes/wrappers were in great shape. I always look at scammers/resealers as small potatoes. Someone who has a box, or a pack etc, and dumps it off on an unknowledgeable… -
Coins on consignment ?
I just watched American Greed - The Art of the Steal. https://youtube.com/watch?v=3aHWo684zeM a distressing part was that the man filed bankrupcy (before sentencing to jail) and the paintings that were on consignment were kept as part of the assets to be liquidated to pay creditors. Would the same thing happen to coins on… -
Re: Should a card in a holder be this loose?
Why doesn't PSA look into investing in a better holder that is tamperproof and will prevent the card from moving around? As you all know, we have been having more and more issues with PSA slabs being tampered with by scammers. Have any of you guys ask Joe about this stuff? Does anyone know if they are planning on making… -
Re: Paypal Scam

<< <i>I have recently begun receiving spoof emails WITH my real name and/or eBay ID on them. >> I've gotten spoofs with one or the other, but so far never with both the real name and ID. It seems to me that any scammer who has both of those bits of info, probably already has the rest of what he/she needs to you. -
Re: Here's Another E-Bay Violator Abusing PCGS' Name -- Call to Arms!!
Speaking of scammers and thieves, my money is on the seller of the 2 items below. He previously had 2 other listings of Morgan Dollars which were simultaneously being offered by Superior, if I remember correctly. Those sales were stopped, presumably because someone reported him, but he has 2 new ones: scam 1? scam 2? -
Re: IF YOU THINK YOU'RE SAFE WITH PAYPAL: READ THIS! Guarantee = Worthless!

Definitely could have been worse... but of course it's the principle that counts here! $20 is $20! My question is... shouldn't PAYPAL be responsible for refunding my money? I mean, how many scammers actually have the money in their account? The claim center is worthless. I always thought the point of paypal was to have a…
