Too much of anything is when it's the first thing you notice every time you get the coin out to look at it. '84-S is a better date but I wouldn't slab this date in grades below AU. 2027 Red Book gives a value of $345 in AU-50 with a huge jump to $10K in strictly uncirculated condition (MS-60). What the heck happened here? How is this even possible? How can this even be allowed to exist in the hobby? The PSA/DNA blue flip clearly appears to be the same card, but instead of being numbered 1/1, it has an MLB authenticated sticker in it's place? Based on the curved shape of the third digit I would eliminate 1, 4, 5 & 7. Then I'd consider what are rounded at the top, 2, 3, 6, 8 & 9 Then knowing that cobs at Guatemala run from 1733 thru 1753, to the best of my knowledge, I would then eliminate the 2, 6, 8, & 9. That would leave only the 3. So now I am assuming 173X.… -

That’s a huge win.. congrats!! Raw in-the-wild finds are still out there folks. Only a couple other savvy veterans called it ‘REAL’ on page 1… me being one of them.. congrats to the others who also had it right. I bought mine Raw in 2025 off a guy from a phone call… along with the other 86f stars. Not as nice as Orioles…
