Re: This Is Die Clash Central, "How Can We Help You?"

An interesting dual denomination clash. 1864 2 cent with and Indian cent die clash on reverse. The profile of Liberty's face appears to the right of the 2. Sold this coin raw that I graded as AU-58 on Ebay around 2006. Was formerly FS-001.8, now known as FS-1901. It is somewhat subtle. Even PCGS CoinsFacts does not have… -
Re: 5 Worst Buys in Coin Collecting 2026 according to TheCoinGeek
That's really unfair to ANACS. The eBay comment isn't really about something you buy. And "grading fees" is #2 which is also really kind of unfair without more parameters. And sure, gambling is gambling. But speculating on the future price of any coin is a different type of gambling from mystery boxes. So, "don't buy any… -

Re: 1956 Proof Type 1 Half - Coin received, new photos attached
Maywood. I have seen three Type 1 halves in hand that have frosted devices on both sides. Two have been graded by our host. One is the PF66CAM I made that now sits in my Registry Set of proof Franklin halves with major varieties. The other is a PF68CAM CAC previously owned by Winesteven. The third coin is the raw coin I… -

2+2+2=1
I think I've finally found a set in the registry I own and seriously doubt anyone can pass me. I'm locked out of 1st probably until someone dies in all 3 sets unless I want to pay way, way above what I or anyone is willing to pay for 1 of the sets! My place in 2nd probably won't hold on the dimes because I'm reasonably… -

Re: My Liberty $5 gold registry set has only 5 coins, but no other existing set has these 2 dates!

Hi Catbert, Yes! I could not afford to complete the $5 set, even at melt! You have some very beautiful Liberty Seated Half Dollars. There are too many to mention, but the 1839 WD and 1859 are gorgeous. The 1862 is the prettiest XF coin I believe I have seen! Good job! Lovely $2/1/2 Indian CAC set as well!
