Re: is this 33 Ruth authentic?
<< <i>Sorry I edited my original reply a couple above this after seeing the description saying "unknown" I know that is a big "red flag" on eBay, when I first posted on the R319 I just looked at the card and the wear. The R319 Ruth is not a reprint, the R319 reprints will have 1 or more characteristics that are slightly… -
Re: Another Paypal Scam Email
I've rec'd those kinds many times and was addressed to my real name. The scam I got was I paid for an Ipod and to be sent to unconfirmed address in Texas. There's a link to dispute the payment. The come up from South America in the spring along with the hawks.… -

Re: eBay auction
I agree. I'm not saying that the seller was smart or likely to succeed. Although I can't read the seller's intentions, I can read between the lines, and the listing had red flags all over it: a) seller lists a raw coin, but describes it as certified - scammers do this all the time so that they can price a raw coin as high… -

Re: Would you be in favor of invisible permanent ID numbers on coins?
<< <i>Conder, I know you would buy the coin, not the serial number. >> So true, but in the senario I described I was doing the selling not the buying. (Of course "I" wouldn't do that, but I could very easily see some of these less ethical coin doctors, artificial toners, etc doing such a scam. Especially if the grading…
