Re: See how the really big boys manipulate the Metals market
<< <i>who was being manipulated? everyone who was in at $700. >> Not $701 or $702? <<When the profit margins are under stress, why just sell tons of the precious metals , that do not really exist>> I'm guessing the word "not" was unintentionally omitted from the sentence above, between the words "why" and "just"? Either… -

Re: What are the toughest error cards to find from 1970-present in your opinion?
The 1990 Upper Deck #702 Mike Witt card was pulled early in production and replaced with the Expos 'Rookie Threats' card. Witt was pictured as a Yankee, and there was a rather large black rectangle on the back. It is a tough card to find, but I've seen several of them pop up on EBAY over the years. I bought Dick Gilkeson's… -
Re: 2003 Proof platinum rip off, check it out!!!!!
I don't understand why the mint has such a high markup on this coin in 2003. It is true that platinum has gone up from $545 last year at this time to $702 today, but that does explain a price increase on the one ounce proof from $750 to $1073!!! I have bought the previous one ounce coins but none of them were $300 above… -

In it, the United States criminally prosecuted -- successfully! -- several corporate defendants and at least one individual, Robert DuParton, for mail and wire fraud (among other counts), all arising from the sale of…
