E-bay Customer Service Number
Someone changed my password and I can not get into my E-bay account. How can I call E-bay to resolve this? Any suggestions on corrective action? I did have my credit card on file and hope that the scammer does not have access to it. HELP! -
Watch notice ebay scam?
I have recieved two emails recently from what appears to be ebay. The emails are notifying me that an auction I was watching has been relisted. The only problem is that I have never watched the items indicated in the email. Is this some new scammer trying to get you to click on a link in the email? -
Don't you hate it when......
When there are 5 pages of "featured items" in the category which your item is listed. My featured items ending in 3 days show up before my regular auctions ending in 4 hours. Most of the featured items are "OLD CHEST FOUND IN GRANDPA'S ATTIC" dutch scammer auctions. -

Agree that it would be nice if something could be done, not just to make it harder for the noobs from posting their parking lot penny errors, but some of the scammers as well. But I don’t have a solution, and as the host provides this as a complimentary service, it shouldn’t be on them to expend resources policing it. -

scammer, be glad they cancelled your order an early scam on eBay was for fraud seller to supply an actual tracking number that they sent 'something' to a business with the same zip code that was actually delivered. the USPS tracking showed 'delivered' which made refunds for non-delivery harder. -

I believe what happens if you click the "Respond Now" button is that it will take you to a bogus eBay sign in page where you are supposed to enter your eBay name and password. Of course if you do then you have given them to the scammer. -

What riff-raff? Maybe I've just been lucky, but I've done 300+ transactions with not a bad experience. I think people make too much of the "ebay is full of scammers and deadbeat buyers" thing. Sure, there are some, but they are outnumbered 100 to 1. -

Avoid any auction where the seller uses Beckett to quote the value of '52 Topps Mantle or T206 Wagner -- or any card made before 1990, for that matter. Hopefully Overstock shuts down scammers who are brought to their attention, like eBay does. -
Re: Most Expensive PSA 1?
A couple of month ago a 1914 Cracker Jack PSA1 Mathewson sold for over $10,000. The one that ended this week for under a grand looked like a scammer with a stolen image. The people willing to pay the big money for the Matty knew to stay away from it.
