Tired of complaints against eBay. Every marketplace has misrepresentation, thieves, scammers, and crappy rules … I would say "except this one" but it's a forum of discussions, not a commercial business enterprise. The BST threads are more akin to friends trading in the backyard, than commerce. -

He has sent me 4 messages in the last 30 mins. I just keep calling him a liar and a scammer. I don't believe English is his native tongue by the way he writes. Sounds like a real piece of work. -

$17K for a PSA 7 52 Mantle would be a steal, but given the picks, the flip, and the cracks, this is very likely a scam. A legit 7 goes for much more than $17K. Probably somewhere in the $30-40K range, but then scammers love to sell things at a "discount" -

I have some, some have reprint stamped on back, others do not, but I would never pass one off as authentic, and im scared to sell any without the reprint stamp because they could eventually end up in scammers hands -

That's crazy!!! All the scammers get away with all kinds of stuff then someone who's been on Ebay for years gets the shaft. I am getting closer and closer to saying the heck with it and finding another way to make some pocket money. Hang in there Neil! -

I'm glad that eBay removed it. I emailed the seller earlier and informed him that I was reporting it and I got the usual "i know nothing about baseball" and "if you don't like it, don't bid" song & dance reply that most scammers use. -

Don't laugh People pay good money for stuff in online games. Most bidders on this kind of stuff haven't bought much if anything before, but I'm still wary of scammers. Is there any way this guy could pull back his payment? Joe
