Looks like they started out with an 1879-S and made a false obverse die and altered it to 1878. Note the second 8. Seems to be "antiqued" a little better than the typical Chinese fake. TD -

They said the Gold came from a Comex vault and were buried under the WTC rubble, this is not a false statement! Obviously the vaults did their job or the Bullion would not be in the shape its in(Eagles grading MS69). -

I've had the same thing happen and they wouldn't honor it. They take a hard-line stance on that. I'm not sure if it falls under the gift card category. If so, since I live in CA and PSA is based in CA, it would certainly fall under the no expiration legal clause. I'd give them a call though. Mine were for min size rejects.… -

That link doesn't add anything that we haven't already kicked around in the trading thread. PM's can rise or fall next week regardless of the options expiration. I lean towards the current momentum and the "fall further" side. But for now, gold did bounce off the 18 month trend line is still holding it. It may take until… -

Disgusting scam. There must be something illegal about this. They are trying to imitate or falsely associate w/govt entity. Probably targeting the elderly or other vulnerable people. Newspaper should have some responsibility for printing it. -

Im going to bet that PCGS tested and re-tested this holder to make sure it wasnt a false claim. Otherwise that is a class action lawsuit. Airtight is a claim of fact that can be proven or disproven - its not puffery.
