How do they store coins while waiting to be graded? I had two separate submissions for ASE proofs that were from the same us mint box and received at pcgs on the same day. One consideration is that clear ammonia bath with liberal water irrigation afterwards may be able to pull a bit of the milky-looking spots. Do try that if you doubt on lesser coins - not miraculous but works fairly well on copper-nickel and silver coins. Mild electrolysis can help but may be a bit intimidating if you don't… -

Sometimes, if it is something that I intend to keep (rarely) and if it is spotted. I also recommend using Tarn-X on all Silver Eagles that have a higher value due to the date and/or condition. I believe that will prevent future "milk spotting" (but it won't cure milk spots that have already formed - nothing will). -
