      No company can stop all scammers. We've had plenty of crumbs on the BST board here over the years yet we most all suck it up and carry on without blaming our hosts.

      I only worry about scammer buyer accounts when they are bidding on a lot of items or a number of high dollar items. Yours is the only recent auction he has bid on in his bid history.

      Actually I have probably about ten in 19 years. My auctions get a lot of bids thus a lot of interest. Maybe scammers are looking at ending coins and look for the items with lots of bids.

      they are slowly growing on me, but still not sold. am glad to see they are trying to keep up w the scammers and trying to thwart the process of placing a fake flip over a legit one...ie the light test.

      Unless you are known to the dealer or can provide references from other dealers who know you, have dealt with you and are in the room you should not be surprised if cash only is required. This is the age of the scammer.

      That's good - there are still plenty of crap slabs out there - for example, anybody of hear of WGC (World Grading Company)? Some scammer has a bunch of Quarter Eagle Indians in WGC holders up right now.
