Re: Defense wins championships
Joe, New England probably have the best defense and they are in the middle of the pack. 2 games have been played this season. We played what some call the best offense in the NFL and gave up a late BS 75 yd scamper to Tiki Barber - who always has a big game against them. edited to add a little insight into a Vikings squad… -
Re: Return privilege on "layaway?"
Seattle Slammer. I agree with you that if the terms are understood at the inception and the seller makes it clear that there is no return on a layaway then the customer can take it or leave it. However, my experience is that in offering a layaway sometimes the issue of returnability is ignored with the buyer assuming that… -
Re: THE SUMMARY
Scott, you are aware that puppet story was a fairytell, right? This Registry is REAL LIFE. Other than that, you had me going there for a moment or two. Now, as far as you, jmwarren: You are but a child. Trust me when I tell you this, If you choose to take on any member of this Registry, YOU WILL LOSE. I mean that in the… -
Re: Since I am only allowed to post two coins a day
Seattle Slammer you amaze me that you equate number of posts with some perceived status. Any dolt can run up their post count. Some of the biggest jerks on this board have high post counts. Quit sticking up for your boyfriend, or are you just running up your post count? Try being your own man and look at the content,… -
Re: Charging extra on the Coin B/S/T Board for Paypal payments
<< <i>Fair or not doesn't matter. It violates their Merchant Agreement. Another common violation is stores posting a minimum price for a CC transaction. That's not permitted, by contract, not by law, either. Only recourse is to file a complaint with MC/Visa. >> Not sure about that...in my State, you can pay your State… -
Re: New one sided CAM
Not really an interesting variety Slammer, don't know off hand which one this is. The PL designation is a stretch IMO. The reverse is semi PL and the obverse has good mirrors. The 78S is known for it's PL/DMPL obverse and not so PL reverse. Find a 78S in full B&W 65DMPL, name your price, to a certain extent, not a common… -
Re: Ruth Auto
So was this shown to be a forgery? I agree with FKW it looks awfully good to me too. Ruth's auto is highly forged, heck back in the late 80's a guy from Hartsdale NY got so greedy (or stupid) or both he used a felt pen! He served a yr or 2 in the slammer for that. Went by the name of danny ducheck and ran a store named… -
Re: eBay just ended all 6 of my auctions
<< <i> << <i>you can't mention other specific auctions but you can use the 'view my other auctions' link. must have been reported by someone. >> some douche definitely reported you. >> Nick I turned you in, I hope you've learned you lesson here. I feel its my job to keep the ebay community safe from key work spammers like… -
Re: Three lunkhead thieves can't lug safe
They probably heard about what was in there from the owner while he was in the slammer. I wonder if any of the goods were "ill-gotten" from his previous jobs? That said, if they were all above board, and he had turned his life around, being an ex-con shouldn't have even been mentioned and should have nothing to do with it.… -
Re: Spam from putting email address public on Registry?
I don't think the registry pages are trolled by spammers like they are with newsgroups, regular web pages, and ebay. You have to click through three layers of pages to get to one email address. But as someone who gets 400-500 email messages a day, 98% spam, I couldn't say if my spam increased or not after getting on the…
