Oh, come on. Who told you that? The 64 half dollars wholesales at 85% melt all the way up to Gem unless there's something otherwise special about it. The '76 wholesales at about a 10% premium to melt as long as it's original (not degraded in any way). These retail at strong prices right now but this is very hard to capture… -

I wouldn't pay a premium for matching ANACS holder colors in a 2 coin set with one MS-68 and one MS69. But I would pay more for 2 coins in that matched the higher grade (ie both MS69) regardless of color. I actually like the color matching idea if the two coins were part of the same set. -
