I realize and agree the scammers can use a bunch of different sites to get valid Cert#'s -- it's just that I have a few low-pop cards and didn't want to make it easy for the scammers... -

1tommy...I just KNEW it....something in my bones told me you were gonna get 'the bone' with that seller. There was just something that made me feel uneasy....to many repeat feedbacks, who by now don't question his (can't remember in our emails if you mentioned if it were a 'him' or 'her') word. Regardless.....too many… -

I depise this Nomar character. He/She is a patent scammer and it cheapens our hobby to have people like this out there. We can't save the world, but we can make life difficult for some of the scammers. -

My rule is that when a seller doesn't bother to grade an extremely valuable card that "appears to be authentic," he's either: 1) A scammer. 2) Someone who supplies other scammers with reprints that don't say "reprint." 3) Both. -

Certainly ebay has it's share of "scammers and thieves" but I would not characterize it as "full of scammers and thieves". If the buyer does not pay perhaps ebay or Paypal will issue you a refund. Speak with them both if necessary. Good luck. -

It seems the scammers' system is advanced enough that they can program accounts to list automatically, pulling random keywords together in titles. My guess is the pictures are also randomly selected from a database. There is not an actual coin to be shipped. Each listing is a one-off. Collect from sale, ditch account then… -

eBay is getting as bad as Facebook with letting scammers get away with whatever they want. AI is going to be the downfall of us all. Seems the major companies rely on AI to make decisions with the majority of the ones I’ve seen being WRONG. 😏 -

@airplanenut is a member of this forum that will take your coins and photograph them, write description and list on eBay for a fee. You will have to decide what the best venue is for selling your collection. I can tell you that I have gotten amazing deals on GC but also seen plenty of coins go for way more than eBay. It's…
