hey Slammer i'm not defending NTC, but judging a DMPL by a scan is next to impossible. they rarely look good and when they do, the coin is generally raw and suspect. i'll buy holdered coins on eBay based on a scan but with a DMPL, it would have to be from a seller i knew. al h. -

Got one of them baseball hall of fame coins from MCM for $149., some time ago. Told one of my "helpers" to list it…. It's up to $9 . Don't know about them key word spammers. Should have told him to put Cal Ripken Jr in the title. -

Check out rec.collecting.coins. It's an unmoderated newgroup, not a "board" sponsored by someone or an organization. Being unmoderated, there are some trolls, spammers, and plain old idiots there, but overall, I like it. There are a bunch of RCCers who also post here, myself included.
