Re: More toners from Mother Nature
Why would ANYONE want to own accelerated toned coins? I can tell the difference right away between accelerated toning and natural toned coins, at least with nickel. The color progression is wrong with these ugly false colored coins that garbage up the hobby that edynamicmarketing puts out there on the market and it should… -
Re: And, eBays biggest PCI junk con artist continues to thrive.
Russ, The seller is not committing any fraud. The prima facia case for fraud is: 1) a false and material misrepresentation made by one who either knows it is false or is ignorant of its truth, 2) the maker's intent that the representation be relied on by the person and in a manner reasonably contemplated, 3) the person's… -
Re: UPDATE - now says "checks in themail"
Its4real, Please post an entirely seperate post explaining the fact that you completely falsely accused someone and requested that he be black listed. That is not something that you can shrug off like you are clearly doing. You need to come clean in a big way. In fact, you need to tell the bidder what you did and ask him… -

Re: Double denomination eleven cents
A hopper is a giant bin--it doesn't need to be denomination specific. All you need is a dime to somehow get stuck or otherwise not leave the hopper when it's full of completed dimes, and then the hopper gets used to transport cent blanks where, when emptied, the dime then falls out. Voila, 11 cents. -
Re: What implications does this article have for world coins?
Yes, the grade taking centre stage is a major issue. But the problem is around the definition of 'quality' and 'better'. The scale is designed for very high volume US coins, and accounts for certain types of wear (and, in theory, nothing else). It's so precise, you can't even tell the difference without a magnifying glass… -
Re: TrueView versus GreatPhoto
Are we griping because of the value added (or subtracted)? Even Phil is going to get six different ways from Sunday before he settles on an image to pass onto the web guy. Imaging color on coins borders fanciful and false advertisement as it is... Spent 20 years moonlighting as a freelance and wedding photographer and I… -

Man Pictured Turns Stolen Home Equity Line Into $100000 In Gold

"Montgomery County police detectives have released surveillance pictures of a man they say used a false identity to steal a 'substantial' amount of money which he then used to buy difficult-to-trace gold coins... "the thief used false identity documents to pose as a homeowner and withdrew an undisclosed amount of money… -
Re: Remove Nomar5378 from Ebay
I've purchased only low-end stuff (PSA 9s of discs and Kelloggs) from nomar, and have not had a problem on any transaction, but I find false titles to be extremely annoying, and I will not in the future do business with this seller. My time is not worthless, and lying in an auction title is an unlawful business practice.…
