The 1866-s 25c in the rattler MS66 holder is one I used to own back in the late 1980's. I owned it for $14K. Today I'd be surprised if it went under $75K and possibly over $100K. It's clean enough to be a MS67 all day long. The one obvious carbon spot does detract and might hold it back. That larger spot was not there in… -

Please note: Three small, milk-white spots (2 obverse, 1 reverse), perhaps a millimeter across for each, appear to have formed on this coin since grading. This has been noted in eBay listing as well. Link Thanks for looking. -

Since you guys seem to know about these proofs. I got my AH back from PCGS. I like the DCAM but I think 64 is a little harsh even with the milk spots. Theres no scratches etc . I was going to resubmit and hope for 65 (4Xthe money). Does it have a chance?? -

Oh . .heck.. OPEN !!!! What is the reason for NOT doing it? I hope you have 4 Doubled Dies. An MS68, 2 MS67s, and a spotted MS64. Milk them out to the market carefully to maximize the profit. I think you'll make $206,000 if you do it right. Go for it!!! Drunner (Resident Doily Slut) -

These ASE's will have lots of problems unlike the AGE's where there were no 68 reverse proofs as compared to 721 Rev PF 68's currently for the ASE's. True there will be 250,000 of them but unless the mint improves its quality control. ie the shipping company, milk spots these will continue to be hard to get in a 70 grade. -
