Re: Microsoft to buy Ebay? Rumors, blogs etc.
i see all this as a lack of innovation in core IT businesses, patent nonsense for trivial ideas slowing progress, and executives dreaming up anyway to make money except using good old fashioned R&D. the only reason M$ would consider going so far out of their core arena is because they do not see much of a future for it.… -
Does it take general corporate and business experience to run PCGS, or does it take knowledge of the
I saw in another thread that Don Willis has been anointed by David Hall to become the next president of PCGS. Personally, I don’t know Mr. Willis, other than what was written in the press release. In the release, Mr. Willis was described as, “a veteran California business executive.” Further, the announcement gave some… -
Re: Today's ANA - Election = Opportunity for change - Information Requested:
For those with concerns about the Ostromecki affair, I encourage you to read the following letter by President Bill Horton, as sent to CW. Although he rambles quite a bit and is vague in some places where I wish he had been clearer, there's enough in there to convince me that the BOG was, at least, acting reasonably and in… -

@Tibor is this it ? :D (Newport Beach, CA) -- A veteran rare coin dealer has returned to Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) thousands of cracked-out certification inserts - the informative labels placed inside encapsulation holders. Re: Do you think there will ever be Corporate sponsered with Registry sets?
This is a great idea, but the Ohio fund disaster might put a crimp in the plan. I mean, what a cool idea to get Microsoft (or some other company) to give one of us a couple million dollars to build a #1 Registry Set with their name on it, so that thousands of collectors could envy and admire the set, and talk endlessly…
