<< <i>is it fair to blame ebay because of D-bag buyer here and there >> It's not fair to blame eBay because of D-bag buyers on Alibaba. It absolutely is fair to blame eBay for D-bag buyers on eBay. We're not talking about a zero-feedback buyer where you might assume that they'll be honest. This guy has been at it a long… -
Re: Anyone dealt with Dick Osburn Rare Coins?
When you deal with scammers, they don't care what a lawyer writes. A civil suit means that if you win and get a judgement, (probably will spend more than 13K) you have to find assets that the sheriff can seize. Only thing that gets their attention is a criminal investigation for fraud or theft. Good luck finding anyone… -

<< <i>"people like this" Well let me say your way out in left field on this one. I'm about as honest as they come! This thread doesn' t affect me, as the only stickered coins I have… -
Re: OT : Rover Links
Rover links will redirect you to ebay and put a cookie on your computer. The Rover affiliate program rewards users who redirect others to ebay by paying a portion of all the ebay fees generated by the person with the cookie on their computer to the person who placed the Rover link onto the net for a period of two weeks. In… -
Re: Suspicious buyers--can you cancel ebay sale without trouble?
OK you made me do it. It seems the address is at best a forwarding agent. That allows overseas bidders to circumvent any seller policies about domestic-only sales. At worst, it's an outright scam, providing enough uncertainty that a buyer can plausibly claim non-receipt. Since ebay no longer allows sellers to leave… -
Re: Need help with this 1982 penny
Metals are malleable, especially copper. Not an error coin that would make it valuable or desirable, but good to study to learn about machine doubling. If you felt like it you could move the metal around in a similar way with a screwdriver and a small hammer because metal is so malleable. The buzz words “no mint mark” and…
