Re: @Atlanta Area Dealers *Scam Warning*

Re: 1 kilo gold bar for 15,099.99?!?!?!?!?

<< <i> << <i>I didn't accuse you of anything, just asked and described what happens to many. I'm taking it you're responding to stories. This is unfortunate for ebay sellers like me. --jerry >> Yeah, I flew off the handle at the statistical part. I'll just say that the evidence of ebay fraud and account hijacking conducted… -
Re: A Real Mantle?
I will chime in... That card is a scammers delight on eBay... It is nothing more than a color copy of an original onto a pretty thick cardstock. I've handled that particular counterfeit before, they are well done at first glance, but closer inspection quickly kills that... The card is printed entirely in half-tone ink.… -
Re: Look who's back on Ebay with a new ID? --- SamThompson comes out of his hole and replies! ---
<< <i>Yep the auction is gone and so are a whole lot of other random drawings. I wrote a lengthy letter to safe harbor and they agree that numerous auctions are about to be whacked. fair is fair right. Well even tho the auction is gone, everyone who paid has been shipped, so won't be able to get any official feedback… -
Mickey Mantle Scam on Ebay
Just when I think I have seen every scam out there a new one comes up. Right now on Ebay is a knucklehead that has a PSA graded autograph of Mickey Mantle on a reprint of the 1952 Mickey Mantle card. What this scammer is doing is they are trying to get the public to believe that the card is an authentic 52 Mantle rather… -
Re: Opening Bid is only a mere $100,000.00 (No Scan? Zero Feedback? Grade? Card?)
The theory is that out of 17 bazillion people wandering around on eBay, perhaps 50,000 are stupid / gullible enough to believe anything they read. Of those, 5,000 can achieve a level of stupidity / gullibility that allows them to enter a bid on such an auction. These people probably buy a lot from HSN and late-night TV… -
Re: MrEureka gets hosed with a PCI coin...
One of my pastimes is playing blackjack. Of all the knowledge I have garnered about the game over the years probably the most important factor is the house edge. The thrill and enjoyment comes from sometimes beating the game with the full knowledge and understanding that the odds are against me. I have made some great… -
Re: List reasons/excuses why eBay transactions didn't get completed
I had an R/C car bid up to $800 - at the last minute it went up to $900. Contacted the winner and never got any response, sent threatening emails and finnally the account holder told me that his son used his account without his permission and that he could not afford that car for his son. I let him off the hook and… -
Re: Paypal Verified but not Confirmed
<< <i>"...i havent had one person yet on ebay refuse to ship to my PO box and this has even been for items >$2,000...." //////////////////// Some folks are adamant about it, but if a buyer remains calm he can usually convince the seller that the requirement no longer exists on EBAY transactions. A debit card or an ATM card… -
Re: I have my first buyer dispute **UPDATE, I LOST** UPON FURTHER REVIEW....I WON :)
<< <i>What a punk dirtbag. It's almost like responsible sellers are at the mercy of the post office in cases like these, where even if the package is delivered, if it's not also scanned, it's a free ride. Disgusting. Glad it worked out in the end, Matt. I hope you file a complaint on this POS. Guys like this deserve to pay…
