Gary: I think what you are going to find is that the obverse design is slightly different, hence the numbers 449 and 450. Here is a site with photos illustrating the dies. Just looking at the two photos of 449 and 450, I can see that the design of the leaves on either side of the flower differ on the two coins. Very neat!… -

I checked the auction again. Here is how he has it listed: Attica, Athen: Klassisk UGLE 449 f.Kr Which is Attica, Athens: Classic Owl, 449 BC. His starting (minimum bid) price is approx. $2400 US Thanks for all the input folks. I am not after this coin, I just thoght it looked like a very high price -
