Wow! That’s amazing, particularly in that geographical location! In my GA-FL-SC-NC detecting career (1992-2013), I dug some Spanish silver, but never a silver cob. At a Spanish mission site, I did once dig a 1658 4-maravedis piece that was struck in cob style, but that’s copper. -
