Re: 2021 Lincoln Cent Name The Error

Interesting. Went back through that tech manual file that I have and of course there is no good picture of the striking mechanism in the common horizontal strike presses. I did find this picture of the dial feed plate for a vertical strike press, which could be used for a bi-metallic or tri-metallic coin or token where the… -
Blank Planchet-Type 1 copper weighing 4 .1 grams and 19mm
Trying to figure out which planchet this is. Obviously not US. Came in a bag with a bunch of Type 1 and Type 2 US blank planchets that were 2.5 and 3.1 grams. Looked at the obvious British Pence and Caribbean Countries with no joy. Anyone else have experience with these? Appears to be copper like our 3.1 gram planchets.… -

Setup at our small 15 or so table coin club show today. Not a ton of foot traffic, but it supports our club. Out and about to the other dealers with my usual "What do you have in errors, varieties, oddities, or strange things" question, which produced these. 1) Somewhat rough 1882s Morgan Dollar, encased in a GM/Buick… -
