ello, My name is Tegan. I began collecting around two years ago and am still a novice. I recently acquired a 1796 Liberty Coin. It appears to be silver based on my tests (magnet, cloth, ice). It appears to be a small date and small letters. It's diameter is 39.5mm. It's weight, ahhh the weight, the one element not matching, making me question it's authenticity, is 24.98g. It's 2 grams off. Any Thoughts? If real, she has some value, and I'm looking for a place to grade and a place to auction the coin that I can trust. I would appreciate any feedback.
