Post a photo of a coin. Or else this is a meaningless hypothetical if it never happens. Verdigris does not develop on silver the same as copper. (View Post)3 -

Looks like natural die deterioration, nothing strange. The dipping may have killed some of the luster, which could hurt it in the Gem+ grade levels. (View Post)2 -
