The trueview may not be perfect, but it still shows rim weakness on both sides. Although I find that easier to forgive on such a thin coin, I don't think it belongs at the AU grade level. (View Post)1 -

I can't speak to how PCGS does it, but in my limited experience (1 crackout so far) it seemed the safest to use wire cutters on the side, level with the center of the coin. (View Post)4 -

It is there, just hard to see. Since all the letters were from the same punch, it made it hard to imprint the last letters due to the central device making the surface uneven. (View Post)3
