Like Tim said, not unavoidable but the risk is definitely always present. Even a well stuck, whole piece of gum can shatter and/or become dislodged the way they throw boxes around and load pallets on… (View Post)6 -

And they didn't cut stacks of sheets in bulk. The position of the card on the sheet has the biggest bearing on the consistency in centering for a particular card. (View Post)1 -

Centering probably made it an 8. Looks like a chip in the blue right border (and possibly the white on the bottom right corner) brought it down to a 7. Would of been a PSA 8 ten years ago. (View Post)1
