Is MS70 formulated to remove tarnish or was it made to remove dirt, grime, and other contamination? You might have better results using a coin dip such as e-Z-est. (View Post)2 -

I see no evidence of this coin being cleaned unless you consider dipping to be cleaned in which case there are many cleaned coins in straight graded PCGS slabs. (View Post)2 -

It looks dipped but I don't see any hairlines that would indicate a cleaning. Gold from the Dahlonega region had a higher silver content and tend to be lighter in color. (View Post)2 -
