Except for the corrosion, It just looks like a regular cent to me. Can’t see any errors or varieties. Maybe it was kept because it was the first year of the memorial cents. (View Post)

Never heard of a raised planchet error and it is not a die chip. Maybe a scratch or a defect in the zinc coating. (View Post)
