Not sure if Im posting this on the right place. If this posted more then once I do apologise for the inconveniences of double posting... Ok so I got this 1940 wheat penny. Looks like planchet was damaged when struck. Or some one with allot of time and patience carved it out. It has some kind of gaulge . But didn't look too be from circulation cause the print"liberty" and"in" are still ledgeable.
What is ur thoughts on it.
1. Is it a mint error coin?
2. Does it hold any value to it other then face?(Image)
