PSA scam at the National. I submitted an in person auto from Sidney Crosby that is a spot on match to authenticated autos online. I was informed at the show that PSA could authenticate this for an extra $65 in a guaranteed 4 hour time frame. I fell for that and after 6 hours had to return home which was a 2.5 hour drive. In line a heard customers say they were charged for the extra quick turnaround time frame 2 days earlier and were still waiting days later. Then I find out it not authentic which is total BS because I live within a few miles of where the Pens practice. It’s not a street auto and is super clean. I also just found out that PSA grades over a million cards a month and has to rely on AI technology to grade cards because of the volume and that their graders are only a handful of guys.
This is why our card grades are all suffering because PSA no longer relies on subjectivity and uses AI instead. As Joe Orlando used to tell me. “Never get cheated” PSA is doing just that
