2012 El Yunque National Forest Quarter Error??
I received this coin in change at a store. At first I thought it was damaged in circulation. But when I examined it closer, I think it was struck this way at the mint. I've done some investigating but really haven't found anything like this one. I looked at hub doubling and die damages on coins but I don't think that's what this is. If anyone knows what this is or if it's an error, please let me know or tell me where I can find information about this type of strike. Thanks.
