79 Cello Pack mail day + others

Got 4 1979 Topps Cello's in the mail today, as well as (3) 81 Topps grocery racks, (1) 82 Donruss grocery racks, and (5) 83 Donruss grocery racks.

Here are the 79's

Any reason I should keep the Glen Hubbard pack closed?

Nice packs! As to your question, my 10 card predictive answer would be this:

67 JIM MASON
461 JIM BARR
553 DENNY WALLING
717 REDS PROSPECTS
519 BEN OGLIVIE
723 PIRATES PROSPECTS
77 DAN BRIGGS
436 HECTOR CRUZ
707 ROYALS PROSPECTS

This is based on regular patterns of sequencing I've seen ... usually the first 3 cards are accurate and the rest get more and more unpredictable.

I'd say rip it and don't look back! >>

Close, but no cigar - though your general prediction of scrubs was dead on accurate

Also got this nice looking card out of my first 83D grocery rack

And I also hit this very nice card as well

I even managed to keep 1 83D grocery rack sealed and not touch the 82D grocery rack either

That was a very nice rip and alot of star power in the 81 racks. Love the Bench.

I got these off of eBay from random people. Pretty happy with the 83 Donruss grocery racks - I am almost tempted now to rip the last one and see if there is a Sandberg in there

I really believe vintage product has and will go up 20-30% this year alone! Especially late 70's

It seems like things are going for crazy prices sealed in some cases now.

I'm still tempted to open the Randolph and Hunter, but the Yankees are always popular.

Another mail day today. Got an 83 cello box in, as well as an 83 grocery rack and a 74, 77 and 78 wax pack.

Checked out the cello box and rack, and here are the stars on top. Havent ripped anything yet. Keyword - yet
