impossible to contact Paypal with a simple question???

Has anyone ever tried to contact PayPal with a simple question?
my question simply is this:

" why is buyer NOW required to provide a phone number before the invoice is being paid." ???

happened 4 times in the last 10 days.
It is certainly NOT a requirement I had in my conditions.
I tried to find an email contact for customer service....
good luck!!!!!!!!!!!! unless you have a claim it is a NO-GO......
any suggestions

I don't like the adding a phone number either , all i do is put in a number similar to mine but not mine.As far as contacting Paypal or Ebay which is probably who you need to speak to , its really as easy as calling them.They are a lot better than the past in assisting and going by past experiences recently i can't fault them.

I hate Paypal with a passion.

But it's a necessary evil unfortunately.

It's the people who abuse the loop holes that make is so bad.
