Open For Business

I never had any intentions of going so far as to open a sales site over and beyond my original plans for my Karl Goetz museum site but I did and below is the information and links to visit if you choose.

Even if you aren't interested in purchasing anything you still might be interested in seeing what type of medals get me all gooey inside.

How better to show my interests than to be consigned to sell a fellow collector's entire collection of WWI German/Austrian/Hungarian/Turkish art and satirical medallions and medals. I currently have about 2/3's of the collection on-line and continue to update daily.

I'd appreciate hearing your feedback regarding the site.

Please go to my new site here ; KarlGoetzMedals.com

Well done, Scott. There are so many wonderful examples. The medal dedicated to German Shepherd Dogs is nicely done. RED CROSS WAR DOGS
I love these dogs. This is number three for me: Sophie

The site is beautiful. It is elegant and dignified in a way that befits the subject matter. Very well done.

Very classy look, minimalistic, very nice work.

Since your text is in English, you might want to consider to add British grades, along with the German ones, such as EF along with a VZ, or gEF etc translating each German grade assigned to them accordingly into English. Just a thought. Not everyone understands what ss-vz- stmpl etc stand for.

    Great collection, well presented image

as a dutchie , and probably for german buyers as well, I would prefer: Medals for sale , instead of ""sales"" in the topline.
    just my 2cents.

I do have some of these graded out into Brit behind the German grade and in parentheses. I actually don't like using grades at all since medals are made to be handled and thus shouldn't be placed in the grading 'box'. but if I'm selling, I've got to give them something to keep the customer happy. I should clarify...I'm talking about art medals here. Thanks for your input.

If I were only selling medals a change like this would be appropriate but I will be selling medals, coins, patterns, books, ephemera, medallions, plaques, plaquettes, etc.. The top nav button you are speaking to is a quick look at the entire list of material for sale. If you go to the left navigation you will see more refined areas e.g. Medals Medallions under the different collections if there are any examples currently for sale. Thanks for your input.

Then I would prefer "" Items for sale "" over sales. Took me some time to figure it out , English is just another foreign language to me,
and probably for most Germans too.

Great design on the site image

Lots of Goetz medals being offered as part of the Pellegrini collection. I'm wondering if Zohar is taking out a loan right about now image

I dislike, rather hate the new site. Too flipping tempting to induce me into a new collecting area, that save for one 1908 pattern I have never ventured into.image
