Need help to ID a coin

Not sure if this belongs in this forum or not (please move this post if need be), but I wanted to get some thoughts on a strange coin I found in a penny roll this morning. Looks like something a person metal detecting might find. The first picture is the obverse and reverse from my digital camera, and the second picture is a high resolution scan of the obverse and reverse. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Nick

Sorry to be a party-pooper, but in that condition, yours isn't gonna be worth that much, even.
I think you're right- that does look like a SOLI INVICTO reverse, and the portrait does look like Constantine the Great (who's very common, by the way, but also very historically important, being the first "Christian" emperor and all that jazz.)
Realistically, I'd put this one at about five bucks.
Still a pretty damn nice find if you got it in a penny roll.
In a similar vein, I picked up a low-grade AE2 of Arcadius off the ground last spring, while walking an 18th century colonial site. It was in a washout in a sand roadbed. It's also a $5-ish coin, value-wise. A bit later than yours, perhaps. Circa late 4th century AD.
I found a safety pin in my utility drawer the other day, maybe I should start a thread about it. Putz.

You probably got lost and looking for the US coin forum. It's that a way --->

I could not disagree more with this statement.
