I collect Bazooka boxes. I am currently working on a 71 set. I have some doubles that I would be able to move or trade. I think I have the box with murcer and a box with petrocelli to trade or sell.(they are not in front of me) I need a full box with Frank Howard. I am also looking for other years 1959 to 1968....full boxes only. Hope to here from you. Scott
I have a complete set I recently submitted, but, alas, they said they were too large for encapsulation.
This set I bought was SUPER quality. I was thinking about cutting them up for the singles because some of the singles would be GEMS.
I don't know what the set is actually worth, but, I paid a bunch for it 5 years ago because they were so nice. Maybe someone could give me some advice on this as I know individual cards from 1953 to 1979 fairly well, but, I am not quite sure how they grade this stuff.
Maybe I should cut the panels and grade them or ???
Yes, I realize they have more value as such, but, I don't collect these, so, I wanted to grade them. They sent them back after they told me they now grade them, but they came back "TOO LARGE FOR HOLDER"

Tony i understand what your saying. I'd call and ask how come they say there too large when we see them on ebay in a psa holder.
You would be foolish in my opinion to cut up the boxes. If you cut them into singles you would really mess up, because the center card shares the dotted lines with the cards to the right and left. I have a real hard time with the emphasis people put on grading-leave them raw as a MT 1971 full bazooka box set !
I also find it hard to believe that PSA cant find a holder to fit a certain size card. Its a business...If it where my business you can bet your sweet ass I would have a holder to fit anything anyone would mail in...would love to take there money.Maybe PSa will hire me to find a plastic company to fit certain cards. How hard can it be....I need a hold that will fit a card 7 x13....okay we will make them for you....problem solved and think of the revenue it would bring in.
Love the complete boxes, please don't cut them. I've only got 4, but they are sweet. McCovey, Yaz, Wright. Staub, Gibson, Otis. Agee, Killebrew, R. Jackson. & Fregosi, Billy Williams, McNally. Wish I had the whole set.
I see on ebay there is a seller (halftimecards2011) selling complete panels or complete boxes of 1965 Bazooka with Koufax and 1963 Bazooka with Mays- both are complete-full boxes. They look pretty nice.
