Who in here has had a jersey framed??

I won my 1st sports jersey ever - a signed Dick Butkus jersey. My question is this. I am without a doubt, getting it framed. When I called my local framing shop, she posed the question to me whether I wanted it framed, or shadow-boxed. I know what the difference is, and to be honest with you, I don't know the pros and cons of either. Is there a way everyone here prefers and why?

i did once accuse my Urlacher jersey of getting too close to my wife.
looked a lot better on her than me, anyways.

Shadowboxes, bought at Michaels on Sale $30 each, use pins, works awesome.

I second that, with a minor addition.
Cut a square of cardboard that is a little wider than the shirt, and about as tall as from the shoulders to under the numbers. Stretch the jersey over the square, wrap the bottom around to the back, and presto. A very neatly presented jersey. use the pins to do the sleeves.
This is how it is done to look like this:
I've done 2. The shop will charge you an arm and a leg. Do it yourself.
