Yo Bobby VCP.......

I'm having to log in every 5 minutes on the site, even though I have the "remember me" box clicked. What's going on?

I have a similar problem on this site from time to time and also on VCP.

Anyone else experiencing stuff like this?

    Yeah VCP needs a competitor.
    Just saying

Sometimes I do too on VCP. Other times in the middle of a session I need to log in again.

I've had two thoughts on possible causes:

    1) Browser settings issue

    2) The design of the VCP page has the Search "pull down" fall directly over the "log out" link, so if you try to select
Search and "baseball" you could (theoretically) miss and unitentionally log-off.

    I suspect #2 strongly over #1.

As for the similar issues on the CU forum, I don;t know yet.

No problems here either. Im using Firefox on my Mac.
  • I find that using Google Chrome and Fire Fox work the best of all browsers on the site. I am on all day 7 days a week using GC and never once had an issue. Before I used to use FF all the time and a couple of times a day it would quit on me. I hope you are not using AOL because if you are they switch IP address and will cause you huge problems from time to time.

I click the "remember me" box too, and it will keep me logged in as long as I don't log in from another location, such as my iPhone or work laptop, or another profile.

Hmmmm. Maybe it's occurring because I keep going back & forth from device to device. That said, as a paying customer it ought to be easier than this.

  • You are granted a single user account when you sign up at VCP. You can only be logged in at one location at one time. So if you are on at your home computer and don't log out and go to your office and when you log in there it will log you out at home. Same thing if you give access to your account to another person to borrow every time they log in it will bump you out and so on and so on.

    Cool, thanks.

While you're here, can you walk me thru how to print out VCP data on a particular issue? If I wanted to print out PSA 8 data on, say, 60 Topps, what are the steps involved in that?

  • You can not print out the prices in an organized format but there are some tricks I am sure that everyone knows. You can print out the screen shots when you are on the page that you want.

You can also download your MC or WL as a csv doc and print that out to use, it does not have the values in it but it is pretty fast and easy to add that to the notes section so you can have that info on the same document.
