Recent pickups... 2 more added

All of these were "raw" buys and submitted within the last month or so if they've been graded yet. The ones that weren't raw buys were the '63 Aaron & '63 Mantle. I was so enamored with the corners, color and gloss on the Snider that the centering escaped me. I'm hoping it can receive an 8 when I resubmit and request no qualifiers. What do you guys think? Also, the '60 Aaron AS is one corner away from an 8 IMO.

    Neal,

Great new additions, I especially love the 73 Clemente. How is that only a 7? It looks really sharp.

  • That Mays is extremely sharp. Looks like a for sure 8. Could it be a 9 - maybe? The centering will if kinda iffy on it though but hopefully they will go easy on that beauty because of its age.

    Goodluck

  • Any chance the Snider could be a straight 8? Experts??

The Mays and Killebrew look vaguely familiar.image

I'd like to see scans of the McCovey and Aaron in their new homes.

The top to bottom looks a bit beyond 75/25, but what the heck you can always take a shot.
I would think that even a straight 7 would get a stronger pricetag than a 9 OC.

Great raw pickups! It's nice to know there are still some NM raw Mantles floating around. Congrats.

Nice additions Neal. The color and registry of the Aaron and McCovey are great.

Yep, I really like the Aaron. That's what I thought, one lousy corner away from at least 1 bump, maybe 2. Very nice lot.

Those cards are sweet. I agree with Stone on the Clemente! One of the better 7's I have seen. The Mantle is awesome too, but I haven't seen too many Mantle's I haven't liked : ).

Nice, Neal. Thanks for posting the additional scan.

I wish I had submitted all of them with the Banks and Mantle. Good luck with the Mays, Killebrew and F Robby.
