Saw this last weekend....

Well, it figures that the first time I get to visit D.C. it would rain..and rain, and then snow. But we got to a few museums, and came across this in the Smithsonian museum of natural history -

(the pictures could have turned out better, I think the mist and rain messed with the camera that day.)

All in all a fun trip, but not something you can get done in a day and a half. We'll be going back one day.image

  • I also saw a small collection of world/U.S. coins in the American History museum, but honestly, it didn't compare to most of the collections posted here.

Maybe not, but I bet it would make a great lawn decoration, you'd be the envy of all your neighbors. Don't you have people who can go pick that sucker up and deliver it for you?image
