  I love that Cavalier d'or. Heck, ALL of this stuff is awesome.
  
  I've had exactly ONE piece of hammered gold in this vein... years ago. (An AU Francis I Ecu d'or au soleil). Swapped it for a fancypants underwater metal detector which paid for itself, so I guess I did OK, but I still think about that coin.
